Leslye Headland, who co-created and acted as showrunner on Netflix’s Groundhog Day-esque ‘Russian Doll’, will be developing a new ‘Star Wars’ show for Disney+.
There are no details available but the show is said to be live-action, female-centric and set in time period different to other projects that are in development. As usual, there has been no official comment from anyone involved.
This will be the fourth live action ‘Star Wars’ show for Disney’s streamer. ‘The Mandalorian’ has already completed filming season two with a third rumoured to be in pre-production and there are the ‘Cassian Andor’ and ‘Obi-Wan Kenobi’ shows ready to go into production as soon as the coronavirus pandemic allows.
