Lucasfilm have confirmed that ‘The Book Of Boba Fett’ will be an original series set in ‘The Mandalorian’ timeline and that it will be executive produced by Robert Rodriguez along with Jon Favreau and Dave Filoni. This will make it the forth show in that time period.
90s maverick filmmaker Rodriguez reintroduced Boba Fett to the Star Wars fandom in ‘Chapter 14: The Tragedy’ in this season of ‘The Mandalorian’. He took the job as a favour to Favreau, stepping in as a replacement for an unnamed director.
Rodriguez has a diverse catalogue of films but is best known for hard action with a sense comedy. This should give us an idea of what to expect from the show.
The show will star Temuera Morrison and Ming-Na Wen and debuts next December on Disney+.
