Warner Bros. have final released the first trailer for the much anticipated new adaptation of ‘Mortal Kombat’. The film is the debut feature from Australian director Simon McQuoid and is produced by horror legend James Wan.
The film stars Lewis Tan as MMA fighter Cole Young who is draw into a martial arts battle for the survival of the universe.
The ensemble cast also includes Jessica McNamee as Sonya Blade, Josh Lawson as Kano, Tadanobu Asano as Lord Raiden, Mehcad Brooks as Jackson “Jax” Bridges, Ludi Lin as Liu Kang, Chin Han as Shang Tsung, Joe Taslim as Bi-Han and Sub-Zero, and Hiroyuki Sanada as Hanzo Hasashi and Scorpion.
The film is released on 16th April.
